I see it all the time…
I connect with new entrepreneurs all over the world who have the skills of an expert, personality of a superstar, and enough marketing knowledge to make tons of money….but they never do.
And by working with so many different people I was able to discover an untold truth about the game of entrepreneurship.
Talent is cheaper than table salt….
Yeah I know it sounds harsh, but hear me out…
When I first started coaching people, I would see their talents, but no results. I would see the ‘how to’ knowledge they studied and understood, but no success. Why? Why do some people have ALL the abilities they need to create an amazing lifestyle, but never seem to make it?
It’s simple…..What separates the talented people from the successful ones is HARDWORK!
And a lot of that hard work takes place in your character and your private world. It’s absolutely crucial to work harder on yourself than you do on your living.
And I’m NOT talking about skills my friends, I’m talking about mindset!
Did you know becoming a successful entrepreneur is 80% why you’re doing it and 20% how you are going to do it? In other words 80% of your success is going to stem from your feelings and not your skills.
So if your just starting an online business, struggling to make money, or ready to make a serious career change into entrepreneurship, then you need to be consistently engaged in personal development and taking the time to ask yourself bigger and better questions like:
- WHY am I truly in business? ( Is it bigger than yourself? )
- Have I given myself permission to be successful?
- What is my relationship with receiving?
- What conditioned habits no longer serve me?
- Am I ready to let go of the past so I can move forward today?
Ask yourself BIG questions on a regular basis because the answer to these questions will determine the amount of ACTION you take using your skills!
I’ll say that again…Your feelings determine your actions and your actions engage your talents. Take some time to think about that…
You see, you have to consistently work on your mindset to prevent your talents from coasting by. The amount of success you create is directly proportionate to the amount of your personal development you engage in.
Without personal development, your talents are PARALYZED…
That’s why I see people with massive amounts of knowledge & skills, but no success. It’s because their not working hard enough on themselves.
Your income cannot exceed your personal value. Period.
That’s why I am so grateful for everybody who has assisted me in stepping out of my comfort zone and helping me grow not only as an entrepreneur, but as a human being. That’s why I love this industry with a passion. It’s forces you to grow. It molds you into somebody you’ve never known yourself to be.
If you are seeking a better lifestyle and a higher level of success, you must become a different person from who you are now. I don’t want to sound radical here but think about it….
Something has to change inside of you before your lifestyle and income change.
I can tell you that my personal development is 100% responsible for my success today. No doubt about it….There’s no way I could have reached this level of success without changing my thoughts, feelings, and habits first. In essence, I became a different person.
It’s crazy to think how much you can grow in just a few short years with the right information…..
